No. If you have no moral objections you can create a second seed world with yet another base. You can then logoff and logon between seeds and transport metals between them. Another option is to download the Valheim+ mod and disable transport blocks. On the other extreme are players who don't enable teleporters or maps at all and do everything by land and sea.
