I'd be cool with jump skill going a bit Oblivion and becoming acrobatics with a slight reduction on fall damage for higher levels. So far one of my most common deaths come down to putzing around my base and not wasting food while I do and then I just slip off something and *splat*. Though admittedly that happens far less since I got in the habit of eating at least one meat even if I'm just putzing around my own well protected base...unless I fall off my dock roof but that things tall and I don't need to get up there often, I can't reasonably expect to survive a fall from what is at least an 8 story structure with no health buffs lol.
