One follow up, is there any changes planned re gameworld sharing or will that remain on personal servers as it is currently? The software is available to run your own server.
I wonder if you could run the server 24/7 on your PC and play the game through your xbox thingy?

I seriously doubt the devs have any intent to run servers for people, especially considering the 10 client limit in the game.

Its running my PC 24/7 that I want to avoid. That game Grounded has some way of sharing gameworlds doesn't it? Its an indie game that went from early access to full release, but they've been able to implement some kind of world share system without having to run your pc on 24/7.
