That is the kicker: I was working on the hut all day and my wife was bringing me wood, copper and tin so I could finish it.

I do realize that the roaming around during daytime, be at your base at night does indeed skew this a lot and that's probably what is responsible for the majority of my events, but in this case?

I worked on this hut for several days and the events come right at nightfall and two times in a row.

Guess it's RNG, but it just feels weird, I guess. ;)

Edit: I tend to build more nice looking houses (no castles or huge mansions, just nice houses) which takes me several days.
