Mistlands has definitely been an absolute slog.

None of the other Biomes have felt this nasty, an even bigger damage/difficulty spike then going from Mountains to Plains with the added issues of no visibility, terrible stamina system combined with the vertical geography, and all the extremely marginal upgrades in gear are locked behind the very end of the Biome's progression.

As others have said, one of the best tips is to always try to land on a neighboring Biome to your target. When you are first hitting the swamps, try to land and build a small outpost in a neighboring Black Forest or Meadow. When you're hitting the Plains try to shoot for the swamp/forest/meadow, so and and so forth.
