Yeah, this is definitely an odd factor of Valheim. I play like a dozen different sandbox survival games and it's pretty much standard for games in this genre to have tons of settings to shape the difficulty, pacing, and style of the world to suit your gameplay. Resource sliders, difficulty sliders, world generation sliders, etc, etc. Valheim is really odd for having no settings like this at all. I personally would like hardcore survival settings so not sleeping/eating can actually kill you, but I don't think the devs should make that a forced feature for everyone.
