I plan to go for this armour with my newest character, skipping not only bronze but also iron and silver. It looks cool and the bonuses are really nice. Will combo with wolf cloak for Mountains, of course, once I get one.

Fire isn't an issue before Plains, except I'm sure I'll walk into my own fires and/or Surtling spawners...
