You probably just got super unlucky with your seed. You'll have to really work for that iron gear, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Having everything come easy takes the fun away.

Bro you got incredibly lucky.. I've been to 4 swamps and I've found 3 crypts total, iron has been an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to get.
