Just to be clear Bored of the Rings was a parody of lord of the rings written by the national lampoon people. And honestly I think the only part I remember after 50 years was the ballhog bit. Actually remember the chicken heart bit better ha ha ha.

Wow The Hobbit is almost 90 years old now. Odd to think a 100 year old book when I was a kid may as well have been in a different language.
