It confuses me too. I mean, you have axe and two handed axe - both use axe skill; you have club, mace, and then 2h hammers/mauls? all using club skill; then you have spears and a long spear (atgeir) using spear skill for the one hander and polearm for the two hander. Pretty much a bet that if they add a 2H sword in it'll use sword skill just like the one handers.
