We have 1h axe , 2h axe , atgeir ( 2h poleaxe ) , 1h sword , 1h dagger , 1h spear ( javeline ) , bows , 1h maces, 1 h hammer , 2h hammer , harpoon , 1h spiked mace , Claws ...dont know if i miss something
But crossbows and 2h swords are comming in the next big update

I dont know why we need chains as weapons ....because its a material already ( blackmetal shields have chains )

I mean a one handed battle axe. for fight etc. and chains are like the ones at vinland saga if ı remember correctly guy's name is Halfdan. something like he uses. and ı mean thorfinn's daggers with 2 handed daggers.
