Need a bow to hunt deer*, and also sneaking while upwind will make it easier to shoot them. Hunting boars is no problem because they just run right at you


*This is for your typical new player. Yes I know you can sneak up on a deer and knife it to death, but if OP could do that they wouldn't be here posting this thread.
