I know but you need to start a new world for that update, current worlds won't be updated with new biomes, or that's what i heard anyway, and i'll probably stop playing for a while before that update is released at this rate

undiscovered biomes on your existing map will be updated, but any part of the map you uncovered will not be touched. Straight from the devs
