@Lenny Rat - good to know they won't drift way. I'm destroying my boat and will dig bottom out like you said. It is shallow where it sits now. Not sure if this is low or high water. Next storm shouldn't be long in this game.

i think your dock is fine too. a little bit of decorations\chests and a roof, and it'll be great.

and actually you can use doors(half doors works best) to hold the boat if you're so afraid of it drifting away
