I hear you, @Slowpoke. It is one of the reasons I've given up on taming.

Well, I do have four lox "protecting" my home in the plains. That is, if they don't wreck it hunting deathsquitos. ;)

I also have my old main base with four swine. I'm not there too often anymore, so I just let them be. I had a raid here and there, but they were all land-based, so I'm happy to report that my boars are still alive and well.

Lucky me and lucky them. Not going to eat them anyway as wild boar is so ubiquitous.
