boonemass might be the better choice. bild a tree house above his attack range and shoot from there. your sheltered from teh poison rain, the adds can't get to you and you don't have to worry about dodging tanged attacks.

I tried using those monoliths once. Yag's meteor attack will turn any rock into a pile of stones in short order.
