I am aware that a lot of valheim's map is procedural generation; in the swamp I often see small pieces of land that look like mounds. Would it be possible that mudpiles would more likely be spawned under those than other lower landmasses?

I am hoping to keep this as a pleasant chat about possibilities and ideas (which is my intention here).

No, without going into boring detail, a huge amount of work would have to be done to move the static (bar waves) water level.

I've seen those sprial stairs, but also seen one in the mountains. It's cool, but only had a chest with boring stuff in. Nothing more than just that staircase structure wise.

It would have to lead to another 'area', like going into a dungeon or crypt.
