I didn't mind the death so much. I knew I was taking a chance, but then they all camped my corpse. Must have taken me 30 tries to finally get my stuff back. it was bad that a couple of times I got excited, thinking I got my stuff back, just to find out the grave I snatched just had a couple of cloudberries in it!

Auto-gather wasn't the problem. I purposely gathered a few cloudberries to eat on the run (t was quite a run). Auto-gather is irrelevant anyways if you have (had) a megingjord. No mater what, in that case, you have to stop and pick through your inventory.
