Iron poles are already the best supports when used in tandem with stone (just make sure they are connected to the ground and not starting from the stone foundation)

I mean, I did connect them to the ground, but it did not seem to do much. The second pole, which was only slightly higher than the stone floor due to uneven heights of stone floor and wood iron poles, was still green. Might as well just connect it to the floor. If you're saying they NEED to be connected to a stone wall on their way up... that kinda defeats the purpose of them being used as support poles, doesn't it? A support pole that needs to be supported?
