As far as what to do... 16 copper, 2 bronze, a crypt-top smelting/forge/portal base, and make everything you want plus stock up a bunch of iron for future needs. I'd try to place the base in the middle of the largest group of crypts. By the time you're done with them, you'll have made and upgraded gear to the point that, with proper food and meads, you'll be god of the swamp and can easily cart out a nice load or three of iron to fill your longship for the next phase.

PS: firespark81 has a video on building an 'efficient swamp crypt base' - it is useful for showing you how to lay the foundation framework - just disregard anything past that and place your smelter on the large upper part, building around it (be sure and use half walls to block off ingots from falling underneath the base.
