Good ideas. But that's not what I'm having a problem with. It's more that the enemies 2 shot me through blocks with a maxed Bronze Buckler and maxed Bronze/Trollhide armor and my best foods (things like the deer and carrot soup, boar jerky, and queen's jam or whatever it is). I just built the fermentor for meads, but they don't help when I take that much damage. Additionally, even regular Draugr are surviving 6 - 7 hits with my maxed bronze mace, and I have some 45 club skill.

Keep in mind they're maxed as far as I can tell. There's additional levels to a few of my things, but they require a T5 workbench or forge, and I don't think that comes until much later.
