BM, moder, yag, and queen are in a not-quite-a-line arc from spawn going SW and the others are all very near spawn. There are at least 5 places around that with meadow/forest/swamp/mtn/plains all together. In the north is a mountain ring around plains and forest that would make a scenic interior base site.
I see lots of potential without actually going there, just from the map generation.
