Servers are personally hosted and have a max of 10 people. This is not an mmo or even close to it. Stop watching YouTube videos and just read the description.

Yeah, no. It's yeet or nothing. The throw will be in the direction your character is physically facing at the time, camera facing has no effect.

I honestly don't get the problem. Eat something - rush in - pick up stuff - RUN! - gear up - kill 'em all.Solo-playing too and never had a huge problem recovering my stuff... just annoyingly long runs..

Open steam library, select Valheim and find preferences on the right side of the screen. Put "-console" into Launch options at General tab. That worked for me.
