I've watched a troll with a weapon take out half a field despite trench and fence. Their weapons totally ignore obstructions. It was just one of those unlucky times they spawned right in the trench. N..

Have you made a fence around your farm ground to prevent nasties from destroying your crops? You need to do that if you haven't.

Bad things destroying them most likely.I have seen multiple threads regarding this since the game launched. Every case has been because of bad things.

Stakes and palisade wall don't rot, but gates do.Most of other wooden structures do rot.
