If you are several people just kill the serpent. It's not that difficult. You could also use two boats and have one act as a decoy

Aye, Valheim is a sandbox and doesn't care what you use it for. Spawn developer only items, mod it into Raft or a offroad racing game. You can spawn a new world any time for a legit playthrough.

Just checked my save data sizes and they are pretty small as well, really is down to using optimized resources... really is amazing when you consider how good the game can look.This is on low graphics..

Think of it as a third person 3D Terraria in terms of multiplayer and basic game loop. Except you're exploring a surface map of islands and seas instead of digging into caves.

It does have trolls, they live in the black forest and can be fairly annoying at times but they do make nice cloaks.
