Yes, I believe that the new bonus from the Hot Tub replaces the previous bonus from the brazier. Also the new tar-treated tables give extra comfort now.

I wouldn't mind if they howled if my base is under attack. An alarm of sorts. That's about it, really.

I have not noticed a difference in my game with regards to the lessened howling. I should also add that I've obsessively bred wolves to the point of having a massive hoard surrounding my compound like..

If you connect to that world with your existing character they should already have the recipe. What happens there?

Does the server have a mod that disables portals?

Best game in a long time as far as I am concerned, I do not expect instant updates. especially during a worldwide epidemic.

crystal BA have some more damage than silver sword ( in slash and spirit damage ) , but its slower so you choose

the root chestplate is great in the plains, but once you have the tools for padded armor it’s best to just rush that since root armor is completely unusable vs yagluth

Apparently serpents spawned due to weather will not despawn while serpents spawned due to nighttime will. Since yours is still there it must have been spawned due to weather despite it being nighttime..
