It is surely better to work on content that is going to stay in the game than work on a temporary ending that won't.

Start killing boss's and mount their trophy soon you will get what you wish for, hoards of attacks, go visit the swamp or explore more, the plains are to die for I'm surprised the Troll is not mention..
