Yes, you can find tar pits in an old world, but you have to look for it in undiscovered areas. If you (or someone else on this world) already explored it, then no tar will spawn there.

Logging out is not pause😔. If you didn't lose your rested buff upon logging out then wouldn't be that bad. Single player pause and even host pause should be a thing. Would stop alot of griefing it ..

Probably because it's designed to be multiplayer, although solo pause would be a good addition. Time Mod on Nexus will let you pause until then.

the spawn points are no longer disabled by workbenches. This was done so berry bushes etc near your home would respawn. I sort of like it... free firewood when I harvest my garden
