I agree. If you go to Lake Michigan in Michigan it's as big as some of these oceans. i think there should be some bigger landmasses and larger bodies of water, especially around the edge of the maps.

I always make a small base inside the pregenerated stone ovels. Just use stone walls to fill in the gaps if needed. But you basically start with indestructible walls.
