Sneaking is less of a play style and more of a situational skill it's very strong when combined with a great bow sneaking up on trolls and fuling berzerkers i found is not so hard but all the smaller ..

Also increasing your sneak skill and equipping troll armor will help.

Some creatures can smell you if they are downwind from you, which is why it's important to pay attention to the particle effects in the air.

In fairy tales, they have a very good sense of smell - enough so that they can smell your religion, even.Also, wind direction while sneaking actually matters. Which is cool.

Trolls are scary, but they're actually quite defeatable, even with (almost) starting gear - as long as you get a bow. Just shoot and keep out of reach. It'll take a lot of arrows with the first crude ..

You need fine wood and bronze to build Adze. chop down birch tress with bronze axe and you'll get fine wood.

Chop down some birch trees <white bark in meadows> for fine wood. You need the bronze ax to cut them down.

The best option is to play with no music or with very quiet music. Listening to sound cues like howling wolves or laughing goblins can save your life. If you don't mind dying by listening to the music..

You should check your key configuration in the game.

You didn't do it right, -console goes in launch options. Youtube has plenty on videos showing how.
