Also, I believe the ironwood beams will allow you to build pretty high. You can hide them in stone.

Always carry items to build a portal on you and inside the ship if you can. Always have a blank or strange name for a portal back at your gateroom. After all we all have done messed up too. ll

Build portals. Sometimes I dont want to go back to main bed so its no big problem for me.If get killed I want to respawn in that area anyway.Have lots of beds spawn points comes in handy :)

5% on all skills and current progression Edit: yeah 5% doesn't feel like alot at glance but it adds ups, it's really discouraging losing skills you spent hours working on

Those mosquitoes shouldn't be in the swamp, the swamp you're in might be next to a plains, which as of now is the most late game and hardest biome. You might have gotten too close to the plains and it..

Get yourself upgraded Bronze gear and prepare using the fermenter, poison resistance and health potions. Then you will die rarely

Poison resistance is a must or blobs and leeches will kill you off, having good food would help like grilled neck tail/cooked meat and queens jam or carrot soup, don't kill every enemy you come across..

You go to swamp to find crypts which gets you scrap iron. The key is needed to unlock the crypt doors.

After the Elder you want to prepare for swamp play, build ur cauldron and ur fermenter. get the poison resistance potions and slowly clear the crypts lie Stvlepore said. blobs are best killed with blu..

The key is the only way to open crypts, getting you iron. It it a big step up from the BF.
