The game has a very forgiving parry mechanic and roll invincibility. Maybe practice on the greylings in the meadow until you gain some confidence. Also, use a bow and arrow to draw over mobs or trolls..

Yea, those ppl have had their accounts hacked. Report the account for being hacked and hopefully steam can get it back to the actual owner.

They could start by eliminating the fireholes in the swamp. Once you start cheesing those, there's no reason to raid tombs for surtling cores, or to chop trees for making coal.
