i exclusively play solo, 500 hrs and still playing even after beating the game at least 5 times.

Yep, solo is a lot of fun. I have played both solo and in a small group. Different strategy and game play from my point of view. Recommended for both solo and group play.

Absolutely worth it. I've only ever played solo - and intend to get to the end that way.

Until now without that horde, the others were ok, including the ogres, but now with that horde ... the game is looking more like a tower defense game, not an exploration game that was the initial focu..

Build a moat or mound around your base, it's a absolute life saver

The game is sweet in VR, plays just like The Forest which does have official VR that cross plays in co-op. Awesome fun +1 VR

I just had my fight with the Elder and no adds were spawned. I guess you didnt clear out the surrounding area before starting the fight. I think he calls for aid to nearby mobs at some point in the fi..

Make sure to sleep right before the fight, at night time the dwarves will spawn a lot more

Try build an elevated platform either on the side of the pillars or a tree and you should be good to pick everything off with a bow. Elder bugs out a but when your elevated from ground so he won't do ..

So leave the area...either lead the greys away and pick them off or let them despawn. The Elder won't despawn and you can go back to it after the greys are taken care of but I'd look around for a spaw..
