AFAIK there are no voxels anywhere in Valheim. The ground is a simple height map and buildings are collections of normal 3d polygon objects. I think optimising Unity builds might just be really hard.

its either poorly optimized or gets major slow downs because its a voxel game. Thats about as far as my IT knowledge on this goes. All i know is i built a huge castle complex and my PC (later i7/2080)..

After punching my wall too many times killing ninjas I put the VR down until we get a bigger space but will 100% try this mod in the future.

On a boat, in a storm, using VR, err no thanks

That's where it's at for me. Once you've done the freehand with in game things like bows, axes, swords, guns, whatever..Going back to mouse clicking to action stuff feels just lame.

The devs should work together with the VR modder to make it native VR. The modder is now working on getting bows and swords to work in VR.

Yeah very few experienced VR players like teleport. Even Alyx is amazing with both, but since it was designed for teleport first, the locomotion feels restrained and lackluster. You can still tell it ..

It's just dumb. It's not a VR game but each to their own.
