Can you launch the game single player? It sounds like you're trying to connect to a server, and there are any number of reasons why it might be failing.

All it says is Failed to connect

I will try to log and see what it says ok

We can't help if we don't know where to look, "I can't log on" could be anything, sorry but we need more detail

One thing about swamps that no one seems to mention is that the larger the swamp the LESS dangerous it is. Smaller swamps, especially those tiny coastal swamps seem to have vastly elevated spawn rates..

Sunken Crypts always have torches out front. I find sailing at night lets you see if a swamp is worth stopping for because it makes seeing the green lights super easy.It can be risky as you can run ag..

I learned to love the Stagbreaker in the swamp. Knockback/kill blobs and leeches from outside the range of their poison attacks.
