In a recent patch they added the starry effect that raises from items on the ground to the spear. Still doesnt guarantee you will find it but try looking around about 20 meters from your character as ..

There IS a console command to search for items nearby.F5 -> "devcommands" -> find [spearname]Spear names dont match exactly, but if you type spear, you can [tab] through different ones..

It's primary use is to transport domestic animals. Based on its damage rating, it was clearly never meant for anything else.

It is an issue. You will see biome fish then when you cast, there are the meadows fish. If you want fish I found I have to take meadows bait plus other biome bait - which means I mostly fish in meadow..

Looking for crypts (and many other things) is far better done by sailing. The biome border actually extends well past the waterline, so crypts should still sometimes appear very close to shore.

Keep looking, they're out there. If you sail by a swamp outside the wet weather radius, you can still see clearly inside. Look for the green torches as you go. Watch out for swamp creatures coming out..

Sounds like just fixing the visibility and view distance would solve most of the issues. I'm sure the devs have already gotten the message.

its worth it for BLACK MARBLE alone. but unless you explored everything in your world (or most of it) a new game isnt even needed.
