you can try to:place a wall and then hold shift while holding the floor piece onto tha wallthis might help adjust the height a littlei you go to low the part might snapif you go to high the parts turn..

stone floors will snap flat into the ground with a little fiddling. If you can just get 1 piece to do it, the others will glue to it.

Yeah I have no idea what you did - what other pieces, where the entrance is, how things are clipping...I can tell you that without any existing structure if you want flat to ground vs half raised you ..

Park your boat in the adjacent biome and walk in. Drop a work bench and camp fires to prevent mobs spawning in by the boat. Build a portal next to that work bench that leads to and from your main base..

The swamp is the first massive difficulty jump for sure. Meadows to black forest is perfectly fine and then you get to swamp and everything is death until you know exactly what to do. Poison resist me..

As far as I know anything player built has that effect, but workbenches are still easiest for this purpose as they draw a dotted line for the effective radius and are just 10 wood.

Mods really allow for this. Can take your character, add valheim plus, bepinEx, epicloot, and creaturelevelloot control mod....and bam, you're off and running making it as hard as you want!

It's not necessary to start a new world unless you've already explored majority of the previously or currently incomplete biomes like mistlands.

Well sort of.If you started your current world prior to the Mistlands update you will still find the Mistlands but...The content drop that added the Mistlands also changed the land building algorithm ..

How about trying to make the terrain your ally instead? It's simply a matter of choosing when and where (and sometimes how) to engage, and unless you're AFK on a boat and you're relying on your shield..
