I doubt it, servers aren’t dedicated so it wouldn’t be hosted by epic anyway. There’s no need for EOS when you run player hosted servers

The mod valheim+ has options to just make all items float. Solves the issue, since you can just hop out of a boat, swim around to gather them as they're floating and then get back in the boat.
