Sound like you need some basic defense. Wooden pole fence just slow done mobs. Now earth walls that are high enough can protect animals and plants.

tried all of these it still wont load i hit load and it loads then the blue spinny then says it crashed. waiting does nothing

Can confirm just waiting for the load screen stopped crashing. Only remedied crashes for me if when i start the game opening sequence i touch nothing on the other screen before it loads in, otherwise ..

I have the same problem and waiting does nothing to help...it sits thinking for about a min then crashes and says it is not responding....

just let it sit for a bit when you load in. load times have significantly increased and start off with a near-crash for me each time. see if waiting works for you as well.

You can host your own server on a dedicated machine that is always up. What you want is already possible. "I don't want to" isn't really a great reason for the devs to go ahead and dump tons..

Not only lag spikes but also had a crash that deleted the entire inventory of one of my characters!!

I have some new lag spikes also after the update but only for the first 10 or 15 min in the game.

i get them during the save. tonight had the 2nd crash in 1400+ hrs of playtime during a save.

Left handed here, don't understand your problem.Only keys I usually rebind are jump from space bar to mouse and crouch from "c" to left control if applicable.

not left handed but it stinks trying to reach 6-8 keys, its very disruptive, I hope an option to rebind hotbar will come in the future.
