Fair point. I don't use mods, but there are pain-points in the base game that could use some player control. I'd like to create the difficulty I am looking for.

Also, if there's a surtling spawn nearby, just lure it to the spawn and shield-block it while its standing in the fire and watch it roast to death. No need to try to parry, just permanent block. :)

First thing to do is find surface resources. Stuff you can just pick up off the ground without much trouble. Chop some trees, grab some seeds, pick off some isolated mobs. This can hopefully help you ..

One of the few games that give you the immersion of adventuring out in the wild. The lighting effects are really nicely done.

I hope you enjoy it. And if there's anything you're not a fan of, there's a good chance there's a mod to fix/change/remove it.

i like building. seeing this game some. looks way more fun than Conan Exiles and ARC and cost way way less for now.

I'll say this: I played Conan Exiles and never felt it needed others to be enjoyed, and I think the same for this game.

games like Conan Exiles and the ARC one needs be played with friends. this more or less the same as tham?

You can play solo, or with a world with many friends/strangers if you want.There is no split screen option.

I'd say with friends it's always more fun but it just depends how well you like being with your group.

I played alone ag first but my friends and I started a world I joined. I still play alone sometimes.

As a bare minimum we need the ability to unload it after raids or w/e so it's incapable of shooting us even if it wants to.
