I use mods to remove that limitation. Might remove what boat's were ment for, but to much sea storm's effects my motion sickness.

I think there's some kind of lore reason, but I'm not a fan either. There are mods out there to remove that limitation. I recommend them highly if it bothers you.

Yeah they seem rare at times, took me ages to find the first lot after a few swamp expeditions.

I have been in swamps plenty of times with zero turnip seeds to be found since i started playing, maybe it's just an empty one.

Thanks for tips, but it isn't a simple in game 2 clicks saving that I would like to see. Maybe that is not possible for game design reasons. Is it designed to be a multiplayer game?

You can (and I do) save the entire game folder from Users\<you>\AppData\LocalLow\IronGate.

I suppose it would remove a fair chunk of tension. Just reloading the save when you die.

Fish are now trophies that give x raw fish when harvested with the Couldron, thankfully you do not need a high level for it. Think I was using level 1 - perhaps certain fish need higher levels.
