I'm in a meadow, the sun is out and everything is dry.

I havent played the public test but I keep seeing posts about the MIST which might very well be a mechanic of that biome and not a bug afterall... MIST, by definition, is wet. That would be my guess...

it's ventilated and dry, not even raining. I suspect it's a Mistlands bug. I've built a lot of houses and fires, so am aware of mechanics.

main reasons fires wont stay lit is usually due to the fire getting "choked out" by smoke (not good enough ventilation), or fire is somehow getting wet.

It's basically unplayable. A bunch of rocks jutting straight out of the ocean. Swim 50 feet and drown and that's if you're not under attack by 20 things. I've loved every expansion up to Mistlands but..

I didnt have that in the bat file, I started the server back up, and it just updated.I had to activate the beta on my main computer.

it is -beta public-test -betapassword yesimadebackups

there is a mod to generate the lands back. I used it for the mountians, and i just used it on the mist lands.

Not hyped for sure...... If there used to be any hype at all, it has been long quenched by the fact that the devs have been half abandoned this game for 2 years

Ah, I don't have a second computer to do that with.

I am hosting a server on a second computer. I have the update line in the bat file. I just updated itself to mistlands. on my main pc, I had to opt into the beta.
