53 doesn't sound like that much. I guess it's average between the sucky ones where you get ~20 and the ones with 100+. I looted 8 crypts in a swamp in my current game and I filled up 2 chests, so 600 ..

I don't tend to count, but 60 is about average. Last one I went to had two chests that had a bunch of scrap in them already.

I generally assume I'm going to get 50-60 iron per crypt, but it varies. I did a swamp run yesterday cleaning out 2 crypts. One only had 38 iron and the other one had 92, so my average held, but the v..

I have had close to, if not over, 100. It all comes down to how many chests you get with iron in them. Getting 15 - 20 in one stack adds up quick.

I've had over 60. Couldn't carry it all out so put half in a handy chest in a room one off the entrance and did a few back and forths.

i mean, it's an offline game mode so idk how a mob would be able to destroy ship, also my ship was in a secure facility, just one portal named Alpha and it lead to Camp Bravo which is near the shipwre..

As mentioned above open servers have fallen victim to trolls (the human kind) and griefers.Surprising how far some people will go to ruin another persons in-game experience.

forgive the question: but are you carrying nay metal ore or Ingots?

Could use the same seed on a new world, just don't kill any bosses on that world so no real raids to worry about.

Could always build in the northlands, there is nothing there either and it should be the last biome to get updated.

Almost no one is willing to host a public server. Trolls have ruined that idea by wrecking builds, killing all the bosses, that kind of stuff.
