Next time give him a fully upgraded club and crude bow, or go all in and full upgraded troll armor or something. That is your body fetching gear -- your second best weapons and troll sneak + your best..

Mountain caves are cool, found 2, one was much deeper than the other. Not sure about the range. But they are not really like a dungeon crawl, similar in scope to the other dungeons in game.
