I had an island bordering Ashlands so it had 6 biomes. But yeah it seems hard to find meadows amongst the outer islands with multiple biomes

Check the latest fireside chat. They have said caves update is a separate small update their doing before mistlands. But I mean that could possibly change depending how their development goes

There are some modpacks that have already implemented monsters and bosses for the 3 last tiers, mistlands, deep north, and ashlands. Epic Valheim is one. I think Valheim Story or some such is another...

Make sure to mention this in the bug forums. In the future set up a portal between the start area and your base with all the stuff in it. It's just a good thing to have in general.

Sounds like a bug to me. In this case I agree with @joemama1512. You should use a cheat to get at least back to your bed. From there on reclaim your body the usual way.

I hate tar blobs probably the most of all mobs. I would be too worried about spawns.
