I had this happen too one time, dug out everything but the silver was deeper than I could dig. Seems like silver spawn position needs a bit of tweaking by the devs but at least this seems to be a rare..

There's a maximum dig depth. Chances are you're in the wrong spot if you dug down and didn't find it. Could be that it's not silver since the wishbone finds other things, or you've got a bug. You have..

I've had this happen. Dig down to bedrock and nothing.

It's best to build a protected dock, create a chest, and put the boat materials in there.

Either works. But if you leave it docked, make sure it is in range of a workbench so you don't lose any materials to be able to re-build your boat.

As said, by night or during rainy weather, seagulls will stay landed even if you miss them. This allows to correct your aim until you can hit them.

Just don’t use arrows that need feathers to hunt birds to get festhers. Wooden arrows one shot most everything in the meadows.
