More stars on both parent wolves means star pups, so try to focus on getting them to breed. Even if it is a 1 star & 2 star parent, the cub should always be a star pup.

Solo, I would say Bows or dodge/shield. If you are with friends... the blobs will aggro on one of you, the other can run up and smack smack with a blunt weapon.

Remember your roots. You have gotten used to walking around in relative safety even in the plains... and have forgotten what you knew a year ago about killing dangerous enemy with your bow from stealt..
