Like I said, if you are serious about your island base you can spawn proof it in a way that nobody will come. Not the drakes and almost certainly not the bats either.

Drakes can still spawns , in events them dont spawns from the ground where the anti spawn range is ( i know that are like spheres but can still spawn in the air , same for bats )
