Valheim doesn't depend on hype for sales. It's not an MMORPG. They never promised anything. Show me ONE time they used the word promise. I'll wait.

Stop the bs already. Exercise patience or simply play something else and check back in occasionally on progress.

I would add that they've also stated the aim is for Valheim to have a definitive end as well. So at some point many people's need/desire for new content is going to be left unsatisfied regardless. To be certain if someone paid $20 for this game and doesn't feel like there's already $20 worth of content to explore and interact with, there's not really much to be done different about that from a developer standpoint. They simply need to continue making the game they envisioned from the outset.
