We modded it to increase stam regen by 50% at all times. Even warm, dry, and well rested it was painfully slow. Combat being 85% "stand or walk around enemies until you have enough stamina to dodge/block and swing back" does not make a game "brutal" or "hardcore".

Things the devs could do to make it better is to scale the regen with how high your max is to make stam food even more desirable, or make tasty mead last 1 minute instead of 10 seconds to give you even more of a health vs stam choice.

We don't want to fully convert it into Dynasty Warriors per se, but let's be real here. Vanilla stam regen sucks.
